You guys know I love curating Walmart roundups that hopefully help you refresh different areas of your home & wardrobe at affordable prices and I love sharing my ideas & current faves with you.

If you've been watching my stories you know we treated ourselves to this ice cream maker from Walmart recently, and the kids love it and basically want to make try a new recipe all the time! I highly recommend this – 10 out of 10 as a fun “experience” gift for your family, along with these cute ice cream bowls. The reviews of the ice cream machine are great because you don’t need all the salt and ice. It makes ice cream making fun and easy.
HERE'S THE RECIPE WE TRIED TODAY!
We just made a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream today and it turned out great!
Simple Vanilla + Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
*this recipe worked out perfectly for our 1 quart ice cream maker
Ingredients:
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
handful of chocolate chips
1 cup of cookie bites (I used crav'n edible chocolate chip cookie dough)
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer on low or whisk to combine the milk, sugar and salt until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
Turn on the ice cream maker; pour the mixture into the frozen freezer and bowl and let mix for 15 minutes.
Add in your toppings and let it continue to mix until thickened, about 5 minutes.
The ice cream will have a soft, creamy texture. If you want a firmer consistency, just transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and put it in the freezer for about 2 hours. And then just take it out of the freezer about 15 minutes before serving! 😋 It is sooooo yummy!

Here's all of the Walmart home finds shared today!
I keep coming back to Walmart in my online shopping. It just keeps getting better and better and I hope you love this round of picks!
SOURCES: Ice Cream Maker | Bowls | Faux Tree | Fire-pit | Knives Set | Side Table | Pillow
This side simple table I just got for the back porch is working out great so far. And for only $36, I am happy because we had been just sitting drinks etc on the fire-pit and floor all summer....probably needed this thing sooner 😬 It was a simple and cheap way to give us a more convenient (and more spill proof) option while we are hanging out.
Also, I have loved having this faux nandina tree too! I don't think I need to mention how bad I am at keeping plants alive again do I?? Faux all the way this gal! 😜
P.S. Walmart Wow & Now??
I don't know if you are in an area that has the new Wow & Now section in stores. There's one about 10 miles from me that just release last week and I'm hoping I haven't missed out on anything!
It's basically a showcase of all the trendy things in Decor, Storage, Kitchen, Arts and Bath that you want at good prices and they go fast. Once items are gone, they're gone. HOWEVER it's also online, so I'll keep you guys updated if I find anything I just have to have! And, I love seeing your finds, so let me know if you get anything from Walmart Wow & Now or the Summer Home Lookbook this weekend!
I hope curating this was helpful for you and hopefully gave you some inspiration for your own home!
xOxO,
April
